Activated Carbon
Activated Carbon
Introduction
Activated Carbon is a very fine adsorbent. Utilizing selected wood, bamboo, fruit shell and coal as raw materials, it is produced by a series of physical and chemical processes including Crushing, Charcoalization, Activation, Washing, Drying and Screening. Activated Carbon possesses both physical and chemical adsorption ability, and can selectively adsorb the substances in gas phase and liquid phase so as to make achievement of decolorization, odor removal, decontamination, purification, etc.
Application
Activated carbon is used in purifying water and air; adsorbing (collecting, recovering. separating and refining of poisonous substances, adsorbing and filtering radioactivity substances and microorganism) desulfating, recovering of solvent and steam, catalyst and catalyst carriers.
